The international standards organization (ISO) released the world's first draft of UAV standards

They need to provide services such as UAV flight records, training and maintenance. In addition, the standard also covers the specifications for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in ground, underwater, air and space environments, as well as other general specifications, production quality and unmanned traffic management

Robert garbett, chairman of BSI Committee of British UAV standards, said that after three years of research, ISO and BSI and other relevant standards organizations around the world have launched the standard, which, once adopted, will promote the wide promotion and application of UAV technology in the next few years. Garbett said that UAV technology represents a global trend and contains unlimited business opportunities. The British government is expected to introduce the British UAV draft in early 2019. At present, the industry and the public have a high evaluation of this standard

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) released its first official opinion on the safe flight of small unmanned aerial vehicles in Europe in 2018. Zhai Dongqing, senior engineer of the National Key Laboratory of big data, Institute of computing technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, pointed out that the European UAV flight opinions put forward a single airworthiness rule for UAVs. For example, UAVs above 900g are required to be equipped with anti hacker technology, UAVs below 900g can fly over urban areas and people, and UAVs for aerial photography and other purposes need to have geographical sensing function. This opinion is higher than ISO standard in level. Although there is a gap in the binding force of the two, they are consistent in protecting public safety

Zhai Dongqing said that the specifications of ISO standards in privacy and data protection help China promote the adoption of 4G and 5g networks, and provide good technical standard guidance in supporting UAV control. Zhai Dongqing suggested that we can establish an ultra-low altitude air traffic control system for UAVs through network operators, and connect with the airworthiness access standards for UAVs. This can integrate data link standards, real-time monitoring, control safety, real-time positioning, and route constraints, and then help the airspace control department improve the privacy protection of the public during the flight of ball screw machines, so that the machines can better serve the society
